(With money raised by the crews in sponsorship it is anticipated that over £15,000 will have been raised for Macmillan Cancer Relief with a significant amount pledged by the 9 Pearl crews. Other charities benefiting include Peterborough District Hospital Special Care Baby Unit receiving over £500 from the News International crew and NSPCC pledged £2500 by Rebus Software
