Crews
Crews must comprise 8 to 10 paddlers plus a drummer - squads may be larger. Crews can be mixed, all female or all male and companies may enter more than one crew. The minimum age is 12 and no previous experience of dragon boat racing is required. All crew members must be able to swim in light clothing and in moving water and compete entirely at their own risk. Qualified helms, buoyancy aids and water safety cover are provided.

Rules
Gable Events is an approved operator of the British Dragon Boat Racing Association (BDA) and the Challenge will hold a BDA Race Permit. All crews accepted for entry must abide with the Competition Rules and entry conditions shown on this form. Each crew is guaranteed a minimum of 3 races (subject to conditions).

Entry Fees
Standard crew - £990 + vat (includes a £200 donation to CRASH)
CRASH ‘Premier’ crew - £1,090 + vat (includes a £300 donation to CRASH)

CRASH ‘Premier’ crews will be acknowledged in the souvenir programme and the highest placed ‘Premier’ crew will receive a magnum of champagne courtesy of CRASH

Entries
Will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. No refunds will be given once an entry has been accepted and there can be no refund if the event or racing has to be cancelled due to conditions outside the control of Gable Events.

Charity Sponsorship
Help CRASH further and raise sponsorship for the nominated charity. You can do this either by using the official sponsorship form provided; or online by creating your own fundraising page through the ‘Just Giving’ website - visit www.justgiving.com/crash/raisemoney All forms and sponsorship money must be handed to the CRASH representative BEFORE the crew races. The CRASH trophy will be awarded to the crew raising the most money.

The crew raising the most money for CRASH will be awarded a sumptuous Chinese meal. In Manchester this will be courtesy of the Yang Sing restaurant (www.yang-sing.com).

Corporate Hospitality (London only)
Private rooms of various sizes and all with panoramic views of the race course are available for hire with the option of private bar and catering.
